2. Scope (Meta Developer Registration)

This policy applies to VANTA applications and services that may connect to Meta products, including Facebook Login, Facebook Pages, Instagram Graph API, WhatsApp Cloud API, Webhooks, and related permissions approved by the client.

3. Information We May Process

  • Business contact data (name, work email, company information).
  • Meta-connected account identifiers and authorized business assets.
  • Customer messages and messaging metadata needed to deliver support replies.
  • Technical logs (IP, device/browser info, API events, errors, audit records).
  • Support, billing, and compliance-related information.

4. How We Use Information

  • To receive incoming customer messages through approved Meta integrations.
  • To generate and send customer-support replies through the corresponding messaging API.
  • To operate only customer-initiated message flows for business support.
  • We do not send unsolicited messages.
  • We do not scrape users.
  • We do not publish content or manage ads.
  • To improve reliability, analytics, quality, and service performance.
  • To secure systems, prevent misuse, and investigate incidents.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

5. Legal Basis

We process data based on legitimate business purposes, client authorization, contractual necessity, and legal compliance. We only process Meta-related data within the permissions granted by users and business administrators.

We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, support, infrastructure) and with Meta when required to deliver the integration. We do not sell personal data.
