Data Deletion Instructions

If a business client or authorized user wants to delete information processed through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp integrations, please follow the instructions below.

Official Meta Deletion Mechanism

This page is the official Data Deletion Instructions URL for VANTA apps and integrations used in Meta Developer registration.

VANTA currently uses an instructions-based deletion request process (instead of an API callback endpoint). Requests submitted through these instructions are reviewed and processed by our team.

1. Submit a Deletion Request

Send your request to emilio.lizarraga.longa@gmail.com with the subject Meta Data Deletion Request.

Please include as much detail as possible:

  • Company name.
  • Product/integration name (if applicable).
  • Related Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number.
  • Authorized contact name and email.
  • Requested deletion scope.

You may optionally include “Delete all linked Meta data” to request complete deletion for the connected integration.

2. Revoke Access in Meta

You may also revoke app access from your Meta account settings. Revoking access prevents new data access and helps validate ownership of the request.

3. What Happens Next

  • We verify the request identity and scope.
  • We disconnect related tokens/accounts when required.
  • We delete or anonymize operational data linked to the request.
  • We retain only what is legally required for security/audit purposes.

4. Response Time

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete deletion/anonymization within 30 calendar days, unless legal or technical requirements require additional time.

After processing, we send a confirmation email with the request outcome.
